Kettlebells look initially funny, but it seems these are little powerhouses.
Consider the finding of the American Council on Exercise wherein they pointed out that using the kettlebell for an hour burns up to 1200 calories – equivalent to cross-country skiing, at a fast pace uphill! It also seems to cut your exercise time in half, combining the best of both worlds of weight training and cardio. Combined with a diet of fruits, nuts, seeds, salads, low-fat foods, sufficient sleep, good hydration, and you will have your body ripped with pure, lean muscle. And in only half the time, compared to if you were just to do weights alone.
Hitting the Core
To lose weight and to keep off the weight for good, you must strengthen your core – that which holds your body together in the middle.
Exercising with the kettlebell, under the guidance of a professional, will help strengthen and tone that middle part of your body, even as you strengthen your arms and increase flexibility in your body.
Sure makes sense when you think about it. The proper breathing, diet, form, equipment, and coaching can give you the results and look you need.
The idea is to get the rhythm as you get a feel for it
Get properly trained for using the kettlebell and you will perfect that rhythm for yourself for long-term gains. Done with others, you can be sure you will all have fun working out together, for after all, working out with others produces the most fun for social beings – breaks the routine. But if you’re not exactly a social animal, you can choose to bring those kettlebells home or in your car and do your solitary exercises wherever you prefer to and whenever you like it.
